When you install Hallmark Card Studio – you can choose to install one of two versions of the application (Note: You cannot install both). The table below will help you decide which version is best for you.

Which version is right for me?

If you have a fast and reliable Internet connection – you will have no problems using the Online version. You will need to be connected to the Internet at all times while using the application if you choose to install this version.

If you are not constantly connected to the Internet or your Internet connection is not fast or reliable, you should install the Full version. Note: Hallmark Card Studio is content rich and includes thousands of greeting cards and graphics. To provide maximum performance, installing the Full version from the disc adds all cards and graphics onto your computer’s hard drive. This process may take an hour or longer. Allow this one-time installation to finish before restarting or turning off your computer.

 

Does one have more content than the other?

No. Both versions are exactly the same. This is the only difference between the two versions is where the content is stored. In the Full version, all content is stored onto your computer’s hard drive. In the Online version, all content is stored online.

 

I installed the Online version and have since changed my mind. How can I install the Full version?

You cannot have both versions installed at the same time. If you would like to switch versions, please uninstall Hallmark Card Studio that you previously installed, insert the disc into your DVD drive and follow the instructions to install the version you prefer.
